Your Profile

In order to create your profile on our website, we require certain personal details from you.

Photo

Permanent and guest notionists collaborating with us for the first time are required to send a photo with their faces clearly visible for use in the columnist’s profile.

Submit your photo in JPEG format. Don’t send a PDF of your photo or in any other formats.

Background

Permanent or guest notionists are also expected to send their current or past education/career information to be used for their profiles. Please don’t send your CV or an over-detailed career path explanation. Merely indicate your information in a brief format as in the example:

‘’A Position in B Firm, M.A. in C University., B.A. in D University.’’

Location

  • TikTok
  • X
  • LinkedIn
  • Youtube
  • Instagram

We encourage you to share either your current location or your nationality/hometown—it’s your choice. This helps us highlight the multicultural spirit of our community. If you prefer that we do not use any location-related information about you in our social media content, you should let us know when submitting your personal details.

Unless we receive such a request, we may display either your country of origin or your country of residence on our social media within the posts. If you prefer to keep it private, we’ll simply add a white flag emoji beneath your name on our socials.

For more clarity on how we use this information, feel free to check our social channels—or reach out to us directly.

Pen Names

We may grant permission to a columnist to use a pen name. If you wish to publish under a pen name, you must inform us at the time of submission. Do not wait until just before publication. Be prepared for follow-up questions regarding your reasons, background, or circumstances, as we may need this information before approving your request.

Professional Disclaimers

If you are employed by the government, military or anything as such and are authorized to publish, we strongly recommend adding a disclaimer in your piece to clarify that your views are entirely your own and do not represent the position of your organization.

Classified Information

We will neither reveal nor facilitate the leak of classified information. If you hold a security clearance, please remember that transmitting classified material over an unsecured system is illegal. We are obligated to report any such violations to the relevant authorities.
